Millie Murphy had to be hospitalized because of a hip fracture from a fall at home. She had surgery to repair the fracture, but afterwards found herself unable to walk more than a few steps with the help of a walker. Millie came to Rehab America Dyersburg and completed six weeks of therapy to improve her mobility and strength. She was able to increase her walking tolerance to twenty minutes and successfully go up and down multiple steps, which was crucial for her to be able to return home with her niece. The hard work and dedication of Millie, along with the expertise and support of the rehab team at Rehab America Dyersburg, resulted in significant progress in her recovery. We are proud of Millie and glad she is now moving around with greater ease and confidence.
