Aubrey Williams is improving day after day from surgery to repair a fractured hip with the help of Rehab America Brownsville. Aubrey has suffered from a stroke that impaired his right arm and leg in the past, and after therapy services, he was able to return to walking with and without assistive devices and leave the facility to go into the community with his family. After his fall that resulted in a fractured hip, however, Aubrey lost his ability to walk and couldn’t go out with his family anymore.

After surgery to repair his hip, our therapists implemented pain management services to help Aubrey return to his prior level of function. He is beginning to walk again with a walker, get in and out of bed unassisted, stand for longer periods of time and dress and bathe with less support services. Through his hard work and optimistic attitude, he will be able to reach his goal of spending time with his family outside of the facility again. We are so proud of all you have accomplished, Aubrey!
