Mrs. Debby Wilkinson regained her physical strength through cardiac conditioning with the help of Rehab America in Lexington, allowing her to fully engage with her 6 grandkids once again. In March of 2023, she underwent stent placements in her heart, and it wasn’t until she was vacationing with her family that she realized she was extremely tired and short of breath, making it difficult to enjoy life. When Mrs. Wilkinson first came to Rehab America, her endurance was low, but she came to every session ready to work because she needed her 6 grandkids, and they needed her.

During her stay, she was able to attend the county fair with her grandkid, resulting in an enjoyable experience. After 4 weeks of dedicated cardiac rehabilitation, Mrs. Debby attests to a significant improvement in her condition, declaring, “it was hard work, but all the therapists make it fun for everyone there and that makes it easier.”
