After suffering a painful tendon tear, 87-year-old Joanne Killion is back at home after successful rehabilitation at Rehab America Union City. Joanne struggled with movement and her daily self-care tasks, hindering her independence.
With support from her family and friends, Joanne set clear goals for her rehabilitation. She wanted to be able to confidently get in and out of bed, walk with the assistance of a rolling walker, maneuver stairs safely, and take care of herself alone. Under the expert guidance of our dedicated therapy team, Joanne focused on managing her pain effectively and improving her balance. Through consistent determination, she met her goals and walked out of Rehab America Union City independently to return home. We are so proud of Joanne and wish her all the best.
