Kerri was only 26 years old when she came to Rehab America Nashville in December of 2021 with leg weakness that progressed into paralysis. After completing therapy, she transitioned into long-term care and was going to live in the facility for the rest of her life.
About six months later, therapy gave Kerri a screening and decided to give therapy another try. Kerri was optimistic and determined to succeed. Now, a year and a couple of months later, Kerri is doing everything independently in a wheelchair and will be going home to her kids and her partner. She should be home in time for her 3-year-old’s 4th birthday.
