After slipping on ice during a harsh storm, Ms. Alta Patterson was admitted to Rehab America in Huntsville without the ability to walk. While she had been told she was unable to bear weight in her legs, Alta was sure she would overcome with therapy.

Her physical therapists started working on walking and lower body strengthening immediately. A few weeks later, the occupational therapists joined in to work on bathing, dressing, and a variety of home management tasks.

After 90 days of being with Rehab America, Alta gained the ability to live independent once again.
